On Wednesday, August 2nd, Daniel Odess, President of GlobalPro Recovery, led the GlobalPro staff in a team building experience, working with Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys division. Recognizing the importance of giving back to the communities that the company works with so often, the team headed down to the Big Pine Key where they spent the day working to rebuild a home that had been destroyed during last year’s Hurricane Irma. The home had lost its roof and sustained significant water damage, with over four feet of flooding. In addition to their manual labor assistance, GlobalPro also presented a $5,000.00 check to the Habitat for Humanities.
“Philanthropy is a huge part of our company culture, and my team and I were grateful for the opportunity to do our small part in helping rebuild a community that fell victim to the storm. As we enter the next hurricane season, it is important to remember that many are still recovering from the last hurricane, and we encourage everyone who can help to participate in this rewarding experience,” said Daniel Odess.
