Job Description: Field Adjuster

GlobalPro is a leading insurance services firm based in Miami and is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter for a full-time Field Adjuster. The Field Adjuster will be responsible for overseeing and conducting field inspections, negotiating scope of loss, coordinating efforts onsite at loss locations, obtaining documentation from client and insurance companies’ field representatives when necessary and reviewing and verifying estimates for real property and content insurance claims. Works directly with the Estimator, Desk Adjuster, and other company employees. Position will be based in our Dallas office, however, the Field Adjuster will spend most of their time in the field at loss locations.

Professional Qualifications Required:

• Prompt and thorough investigation of property damage and determination of cause and origin of loss.
• Timely identification, analysis and resolution of coverage issues.
• Maintain accurate claim file documentation and prepare reports.
• Identify the necessity of experts and obtain reports with the requisite approval.
• Review any expert reports for accuracy.
• Draft summary report of comparison created by Estimator.
• Draft letters for settlement of claim and submit for review and approval to send.
• Communicate and interact with policyholders, attorneys, vendors and experts.
• Negotiate with the Carrier and settles the claim.

Experience: Exceptional management and negotiation skills are needed, in addition to at least one year of progressive work experience in the Insurance industry or other like position. General computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required. Some proficiency in Xactimate and/or construction estimating is required. Commercial property insurance experience is also required.

Compensation: based on experience and employment status, (W2 or 1099)
